Requirements for the job

Task description: Reviewing sentences to identify and label entities (e.g. name, organization, location, etc.) according to the guidelines. The task will be performed online. You will receive the instructions on how to join the online tool and the guidelines on how to perform the task.

NOTE: The project will be run in 2-week batches. Annotation is expected to finish within the first week of each batch, with about a one-week gap before the next batch begins (i.e., annotators can expect to work one week on, one week off for the duration of the project).

Requirements:

Over 18 years old
Native speaker of Tamil
Fluent in English (project guidelines and communications will be in English)

Prior experience with data annotation is a plus

Combination of experience and/or education in one or more of the following areas: translation, writing/editing/proofreading, teaching (language), linguistics, journalism.

Estimated start date: Immediately
Estimated workload: 10-20 hours per week
Compensation: ₹150 per hour

Job Types: Part-time, Fresher
